Nurse Practitioner

Cynthia Cruz-Kuang is a graduate from the University of California, San Diego, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. She received her Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Science in Nursing degrees from Azusa Pacific University. She graduated with top honors from both programs and was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and Alpha Chi National Honor Society. She came from Huntington Hospital’s Medical Oncology unit and was the chair-elect of the Huntington Hospital Policy and Procedures Council.

For several years, she’s fulfilled her role as a nurse practitioner, providing patient care in the community health setting while also acting as an educator, providing clinical preceptorship for nurse practitioner students. Since then, she’s returned to her passion of working with oncology patients and is currently working with Dr. Weber Chen at the Los Angeles Cancer Network. She’s board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in Family Medicine and is an active member of the Greater Los Angeles of the Oncology Nursing Society.
