Nurse Practitioner

Radha Patel is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in acute care and hematology/oncology. She was a chemo nurse before completing her master’s degree at Purdue University, Illinois and making the transition to nurse practitioner.

She found her passion for oncology after seeing the obstacles her grandparents battled when they had cancer. She realized how important it is to have a strong support system and wanted to provide that to patients and help them through a difficult time. Radha loves meeting new patients and being there for them through tough circumstances. She takes the time to truly know them for who they are, not just their diagnosis. She treats the whole patient, rather than just the disease. Radha likes to remind patients that “Cancer” is a scary word to hear, but it is not a death sentence. It comes in different stages, and it is a different experience for every individual. Her message to patients is “We will do everything we can to guide you through your diagnosis and treatment plan and we will be there with and for you every step of the way”.

In her free time, Radha enjoys hiking, going to beach, relaxing with a good book, or spending time with her 5-year old Maltipoo.
