Dr. Thompson is a graduate of John Hopkins University and earned her medical degree at St. Georges University School of Medicine. Dr. Thompson served as a Resident at Drexel University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and served her Fellowship in Palliative Care Medicine and Hematology and Oncology at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Dr. Thompson served the Medical Community as Research Assistant at Georgetown University Hospital Lombardi Cancer Center in the Development Therapeutics Program. Her research is published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
