Raffi Chalian, MD

Gynecology Oncology

Dr. Raffi A. Chalian is a highly accomplished gynecologic oncologist with extensive experience in clinical practice, research, and academia. He obtained his MBBS from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2000 and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in gynecologic oncology. Dr. Chalian has held numerous academic and clinical positions, including Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson Medical School and Temple University. He currently runs a private practice in Glendale, CA, where he continues to provide specialized care in gynecologic oncology.

Throughout his career, Dr. Chalian has been recognized for his contributions to medical education and research, earning accolades such as the Penn Pearls Award for exceptional teaching. He has an extensive bibliography, contributing to peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and conference presentations on topics ranging from fertility treatments to gynecologic cancer management. Dr. Chalian is board-certified in both general obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology, and he remains actively involved in professional organizations such as ACOG and SGO.
