Mia Wong is a board-certified nurse practitioner and completed her master’s degree at University of California, Los Angeles. Mia chose oncology because of the unique opportunity to help patients through a challenging time in their lives and be a partner to them in their treatment.

She chose to work at LACN because of the commitment to providing personalized cancer treatment to every patient. Mia loves getting to know patients & their families. Her treatment style is to treat the whole person and not just disease; it’s important to her to provide customized care for each person.

She puts her patients at ease by providing thorough education in a way that the patient can understand so they can make fully informed decisions that align with their goals of care. Her message to patients is “I know it’s easier said than done but a positive attitude is a great tool to have and can make cancer treatment easier, and I’m here to help you get through it.”

Mia treats every patient, but she is especially interested in breast, lung, GI, and gynecology malignancies. In her free time, you can find her cooking, baking, hiking, or traveling.
