Dr. Ramin Mirhashemi is a distinguished gynecologic oncologist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and academic leadership. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California and went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from USC’s School of Medicine. Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Gynecologic Oncology, Dr. Mirhashemi has held prestigious academic positions, including Associate Professor roles at the University of Miami and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He has also served as Chief of Gynecologic Oncology at both institutions. Currently, he co-chairs the Gynecologic Oncology division and the Robotic Program at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, a Cedars-Sinai affiliate, where he remains dedicated to advancing surgical techniques and patient care.

Dr. Mirhashemi is a prolific contributor to the field of gynecologic oncology, with numerous publications in leading medical journals and contributions to esteemed surgical textbooks. His research focuses on improving surgical outcomes, gynecologic cancer management, and innovative robotic-assisted procedures. Dr. Mirhashemi is affiliated with several top-tier hospitals, including Torrance Memorial Hospital and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where he provides expert care to patients with complex gynecologic conditions.
